A police officer attached to Kajola Police Division in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Inspector Abraham Aro, has allegedly committed suicide.
Aro, according to reliable sources, killed two police officers before he took his own life. It was gathered that Aro shot a Superintendent and Divisional Crime Officer simply identified as Timothy to death at the Police divisional headquarters, Kajola.
The incident threw the entire Kajola community into pandemonium, as many residents went on rampage.
The motive behind the killing was unknown as at press time, but residents were scared of passing through the road leading to the police headquarters in Kajola.
The corpses of the deceased police officers were said to have been deposited at the morgue of the General Hospital, Ore, after the Area Commander in charge of Ondo had led a team of officers to the scene of the crime.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Ondo State Command, Mr. Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident, saying investigation has commenced into the matter.
