Pawn NG deepens West Africa push, targets Africa’s untapped asset wealth

Pawn NG, a fast-growing alternative finance and luxury asset management company, is expanding its footprint across West Africa, positioning itself to tap into the continent’s growing demand for flexible, asset-backed financing.

The company, which has operations in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Accra, Ghana, provides individuals and businesses with access to liquidity by leveraging high-value assets, including luxury watches, jewellery and other valuables.

The expansion comes as traditional credit channels remain challenging for many entrepreneurs and asset owners seeking quick access to funds.

Rather than relying solely on conventional credit assessments, Pawn NG enables clients to unlock the value of assets they already own through structured asset-backed financing.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Eziefula Ezichi, said the company was established to provide a transparent and responsible alternative for individuals seeking to convert the value of their assets into liquidity.

Beyond financing, Pawn NG has also carved a niche in the luxury secondary market, particularly in the authentication, appraisal, buying, selling and brokerage of luxury timepieces.

The company says it has served more than 15,000 clients and facilitated thousands of transactions, reflecting growing interest in alternative approaches to wealth and liquidity management.

Its entry into Ghana marks another major step in its expansion strategy, with the company now looking beyond West Africa to build a broader pan-African platform.

Ezichi and his team are targeting further expansion into high-growth African markets, alongside increased investment in technology to streamline asset appraisal, client onboarding and transaction management.

Pawn NG also plans to broaden its services across additional categories of high-value assets as it seeks to strengthen its position in Africa’s emerging alternative finance and luxury asset markets.

With its expanding regional footprint, Pawn NG is betting that the next frontier of African finance may not only be traditional banking, but the wealth already sitting in the hands of individuals and businesses.
