Patricia Onumonu, popularly known by her label Trish ‘O’ Couture, was inspired by her mum to become a fashion designer.
At the opening of her ultra modern TRISH O building, which comprises of the fashion arcade downstairs and luxury furniture showroom upstairs, she displayed different collections for trendy, sassy and glamorous women. Her luxury brand is for women with finest taste in fabrics and style and inspired by fairytales, romance and feminine beauty with an African feel to it.
The designer makes use of lace, velvet, sequins, feather, leather and Ankara prints on chiffon fabrics to portray both the sexiness and softness of womanhood with the aim of having a global appeal. She said “I have been doing fashion for years but I felt it’s time to move to the next level. I thought furniture is the next level”.
