The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen, Pastor Lazarus Mouka, has gifted an 80-year-old woman, Mrs. Charity Onyemaechi, a brand new Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) valued at about N20 million for her dedication in the service of God.
Popularly known as Mama Festac, the reward came as a surprise to Mrs. Onyemaechi, who was also given a driver to drive her around wherever she wanted to go.
One of the choristers in the church described Mama Festac as “a dedicated woman who traverses every nook and cranny to preach the gospel even at her age.”
“She enters commercial buses to preach and invite people to the church. In Abuja, she preaches from offices to office in the capital city and its environs and brings people to the church right from the inception of the church. She never relents in preaching,” the chorister said.
The General Overseer, Pastor Muoka, also promised to reward other members, especially the newcomers, stressing that there is a gift for everybody.
He called on Nigerians to imbibe the habit of giving to God, if they want God to bless them.
“Bless God first, and he will bless you. Don’t withhold the little you have to give to God, and the blessing will come,” he said.
In his sermon, Muoka stated that God was in His mission to bless humanity but Adam lost it. The two-day programme titled: “It is time for God to bless you” witnessed a harvest of testimonies with people from across the globe in attendance.
