Pacesetter TechXhibition on Wednesday 28th February 2024 organised another exhibition at the International Conference Center where it played host to a Tech and Innovation Exhibition show for kids, known as Pacesetter Techxhibition 2024.
The exhibition featured individual kids and school teams who displayed exceptional innovations in robotics, animation, data science, electronics, and more.
Before the highlight of the event, which was the announcement of the winning innovation, a panel discussion took place. Kids had the opportunity to ask questions and were inspired and encouraged by the founders of various tech groups. The Computer Age School emerged as the winner with a groundbreaking customer service robotics innovation.
The support of the Oyo State Government was evident during the exhibition. Mr. Bayo Akande, the Senior Special Adviser to the State Government on ICT and e-governance, donated a laptop that was presented to the winning team. He also assured the state’s comprehensive support for the initiative. In addition, scholarships and other prizes were awarded to participating kids for their remarkable achievements.
Mrs. Ibilola Afolabi and Dr. (Mrs.) Kunbi Omotoso, the conveners of Pacesetter TechXhibition, expressed their commitment to showcasing young innovators and inspiring other tech enthusiasts to contribute positively to the development of the state, nation, and the world as a whole.
