The new deputy governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Lawal, a former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of the state will be sworn-in by 3:30pm today Monday July 18, 2022.
He will serve as a replacement for Alhaji Rauf Olaniyan, who was removed from office this morning by the state House of Assembly.
A notice from the Office of the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seyi Makinde, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, stated that the ceremony will hold at the Executive Cambers, Governor’s Office, Treasury Building, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
The swearing-in ceremony will follow Lawal’s confirmation by the Oyo State House of Assembly as deputy governor today.
