Former Abia State Governor, His Excellency Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has joined other Nigerians to congratulate newly honoured CAF Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman.
The Super Eagles and Atalanta forward, true to expectations, on Monday became the sixth Nigeria to win the award to replace his compatriot, Victor Osimhen who was it last year.
In a Facebook post, Senator Kalu congratulated Ademola Lookman for making Nigeria and Nigerians proud.
“This victory has made Nigeria win the CAF Footballer of the Year Back-to-back. We are very proud of you and I join your esteem fans, the NFF and soccer lovers all over the world to celebrate you,” Senator Kalu said.
