Vice President Yemi Osinbajo met with the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris; Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami and the Director-General of the Department of State Security, Lawal Daura, for over an hour, yesterday, behind closed-doors at the Vice President’s wing of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting, according to a Presidency source, was convened over the summon of Senate President Bukola Saraki by the police over his alleged relationship with the Offa bank robbery suspect.
But cornered by State House Correspondents on what the meeting was about, the IGP said all enquires should be directed to the ADC to Osinbajo
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari earlier met with the service chiefs and heads of other security agencies.
