From: Tony Osauzo, Benin-City The Fertilizer plant originally built by the former administration of ex-governor Lucky Igbinedion, was rehabilitated by WACOT Limited in collaboration with the governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration in the state. The Vice President will be commissioning the NPK fertiliser plant to reiterate the Federal Government’s actualisation of the Presidential Fertiliser Initiative (PFI) launched by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2016 as part of the administration’s drive towards achieving food self-sufficiency and economic diversification through agriculture. The Vice President is also expected to commission the Bua Cement Plant at Okpella in Edo State, today. |
