Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Club Brugge midfielder, Ralph Onyedika, has shared his excitement about scoring his first goal against Manchester City, despite his team’s 3-1 loss in the UEFA Champions League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Belgian side suffered a defeat to the English champions on Wednesday, with Onyedika netting the only goal for the visitors.

Although thrilled by his achievement, Onyedika acknowledged that errors were costly for his team.

“It’s hard to describe, but it’s an amazing feeling to score my first goal at City’s stadium. I’m so proud,” Onyedika told Flashcore.com.

“We knew it would be tough once we conceded the first goal, and we got a bit sloppy. After that, they gained momentum and energy, making it even harder for us due to our mistakes.”
