Oniba warns residents encroaching on swampy lands

The Oniba Traditional Council, headed by Oba Sulaimon Adeshina Raji-Ashade, the Oniba of Iba, has issued a warning to residents regarding activities on swampy lands in Iba town, Lagos State.

In a statement yesterday, the council stressed the importance of obtaining proper approvals before engaging in any activity on the swampy lands within the area .

The council cautioned against any illegal activities and urged residents to ensure compliance with necessary regulations.

The council encouraged individuals interested in utilizing swampy lands to contact the palace or the traditional council for guidance and approval.

The council also reminded residents to remain law-abiding and peaceful, ensuring they seek accurate information and guidance from the appropriate authorities.

Additionally, the council urged all Iba residents to comply with  local laws and regulations;avoid any actions that would disrupt public peace and order within Iba town and the broader state.
