Ongoing: Heavy riot in Ikeja-along

Reports reaching Daily Sun have it that there is an ongoing riot at Ikeja-along area of Lagos/Abeokuta expressway.

According to our sources, the fight started at about 2.45pm on Friday and might be connected to a clash between members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

As at the time of filing this report, there was a heavy presence of Air Force officers in the area to ensure safety of lives and passersby.
