Over 2,000 motorcyclists across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State have declared their support for the reelection of Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, while also appealing to the Federal Government to address the rising cost of fuel and the country’s economic challenges.
The endorsement came from members of the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), who gathered at the office of the Asiwaju Mandate Group in Akure to formally back Tinubu and pledge their readiness to mobilise for a landslide victory in the state.
ACOMORAN’s state chairman, Akinlolu Olumonrin, explained that the decision followed a careful assessment of the President’s performance nationwide.
He stated that Ondo motorcyclists believe Tinubu is best positioned to continue ongoing developmental programmes and policies across Nigeria.
“We have looked into everything he has done in Nigeria and discovered he is the only person who can continue the job so that the programme will not stop.”
“We tried a lot to make ACOMORAN visible in Ondo State; we wrote many letters and even sued the government, but we did not achieve anything.

“We discovered that if we go through the President, then it may come to reality, that is why we decided to fully support Tinubu for the second time in Nigeria,” Olumonrin said.
While pledging support, he urged members to remain law-abiding and disciplined to safeguard public trust.
Olumonrin also appealed to the Federal Government to find solutions to the rising cost of fuel, noting that transport operators are among the worst affected by economic hardship.
”We believe there is hope and that things will improve very soon, but we want the President to help find solutions to the hike in prices,” he urged.
The Director-General of the Asiwaju Mandate Group, Olumuyiwa Asagunla, commended the endorsement, saying it would further strengthen the ruling All Progressives Congress’ prospects in Ondo State ahead of the 2027 elections.
He also acknowledged the interventions of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, noting the continued alignment of various groups with the party in recent months.
