Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on Thursday lost his mother,Mrs Grace Akeredolu.
Mrs Akeredolu reportedly died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday morning.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Richard Olatunde confirmed the death of Mrs Akeredolu in a statement.
Mrs Akeredolu last outing was her 90th birthday which was celebrated recently in Owo, headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of the state.
The deceased was survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.
