Grand Oak played a traditional role at the just concluded Olojo Festival in Ile-Ife, Osun Sate to celebrate “Ogun” the god of Iron believed to be the first son of Oduduwa, progenitor of the Yoruba race.
The event saw the company’s brand led by its Senior Sales Manager, West Region, Mr. Adewale Ogunyemi to the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi to pay homage to the revered monarch.
Ogunyemi presented the Seaman’s Schnapps to the Ooni, which the Kabiyesi used to offer prayers to the gods on behalf of the people and the land.
Ogunyemi said the brand was at the festival to sustain the long-standing relationship with dynasty as the only exclusive spirit of the festival and to play important role as the conveyer of enduring blessing. He said the brand took part in engaging the people with its famous Ayo Olopon contest during the festival at which winners were rewarded with fabulous gifts.
