Ola Aina achieves new career milestone with market valuation of N33.6 billion, as his deal with Nottingham Forest approaches conclusion
Following the latest update from Transfermarkt, some footballers have seen their market valuations rise significantly.
According to the reputable stats website, Nottingham Forest’s Ola Aina is now valued at €20 million (around N33.6 billion). This comes despite the Nigerian international having about three months remaining on his contract with the Premier League’s side, Nottingham Forest.
Prior to this update, Aina’s market value was recorded at €14 million as of December 2024. His defensive prowess has shone throughout the season, with the right-back winning possession in the defensive third more than any other player across the top five European leagues.
After joining Nottingham Forest on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, Aina has played in 52 Premier League matches, contributing three goals and two assists to the team’s efforts. The Tricky Trees are keen to secure him with a new deal, but as of now, no contract has been signed, leaving his long-term future at the City Ground uncertain.
Interest has also emerged from Manchester City for the 28-year-old, although no formal offer has been made yet. Additionally, Turkish champion, Galatasaray is reported to be monitoring the situation.
