The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State branch has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his victory at the Supreme Court.

He said:  “By this judgement, the judiciary has once again proven to be the last hope of the common man.  We commend the Justices of the Supreme Court who defended the mandate freely given to President Bola Tinubu by the people during the elections.”

Meanwhile, Ossai has appealed to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to tamper justice with mercy and re-open the Auto Spare Parts and Machinery Dealers Association, ASPAMDA, Alaba International Market, Ladipo Market, Agbado Oke-Odo Market, Oyingbo Market, Alayabiagba Market, Alamutu (Ologede) Market and sections of Tejuosho Market that were shut down by the Lagos State Waste Management Agency, LAWMA.

He said: “As the leadership of the Igbo during their legitimate businesses in Lagos State, we intercede on their behave and promise that what led to the closure of the market will not repeat itself.

“Ndigbo are peaceful and law abiding citizens who have added positively to the growth, development and internally generated revenue, IGR, of the state. They will continue to be peaceful and law abiding while doing their legitimate businesses in the state.

“Now that all forms of distractions are over, President Tinubu will fully concentrate to tackle the challenges facing the country headlong.

“We urge all and sundry to support President Tinubu as he takes the nation to enviable heights.”
