The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi, has been declared winner of Saturday’s presidential election in Ebonyi State.
The All Progressive Congress(APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, came in second, and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar placed third.
The results were announced at the Ebonyi Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) Office in Abakaliki on Tuesday.
The Collation Officer for Ebonyi State, Prof Charles Igwe, who is the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), announced the final results.
He said Obi garnered 259738 while Tinubu got 42402 votes and Atiku scored 13503 votes.
