Presidential candidate of the Labour party (LP), Peter Obi has asked the public to disregard the manifesto of his party currently in circulation.
The LP standard bearer and former governor of Anambra state, said the LP’s manifesto is still under review.
Issuing the clarification via his official Twitter handle on Monday, Obi claims that the manifesto that is currently in circulation is a draft version that got into the public domain.
He said he will personally release the LP manifesto to the public when it is ready.
“We have not formally released our Manifesto. I will do so personally. It seems an earlier draft copy under review has made its way into the public space. Until I release the approved and final draft, please disregard what is being circulated,” the tweet reads.
