The Zamfara state council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has condoled the Zamfara state government over the death of the state chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha who died in Germany after a protracted sickness.
The NUJ in its condolence letters to governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle and the PDP signed by the Council’s chairman, Comrade Abdulrazak Bello Kaura described the late Ibrahim Mallaha as a leader who puts the interest of the people and party as a priority.
The NUJ also condoled the state government over the death of another prominent son of the state and a member of the PDP, Senator Yushau Muhammad Anka who died on 13th October.
The Council described the late Senator Anka who served as the Senator of Zamfara State West District In office from 1999 – 2007 as great loss to the state and country.
The union described the death of the two illustrious sons of the state within the space of three days as tragic.
“Indeed,the respected personalities, died when their wise counsels would be more cherished. But Alhamdulillah as they lived a life worthy of commendation and emulation,” he said.
The union prayed to Allah to admit the deceased into Aljannah Firdausi and grant their families the fortitude to bear the monumental losses.
