A significant milestone was achieved for rugby on Tuesday in Lagos as the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) signed a partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with business consulting and investment strategy company, Flovale.
Opeoluwa Runsewe, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Flovale, expressed to the media that the collaboration with the NRFF was part of his company’s effort to take rugby to new heights in Nigeria.
Runsewe stated, “This partnership represents the power of dreams and is indeed a testament to the resilience and passion of the NRFF, the country, and the community at large. It is also a testament to unwavering commitments towards facilitating partnership and investment in the sector.
“Our partnership with the NRFF will involve endorsements, corporate partnerships, and other innovative avenues to ensure the tremendous growth of Nigerian rugby.
“We also aim to maximize its commercial potential growth, and we are truly honoured to have the opportunity to work with the NRFF in achieving these goals.”
Dr. Ademola Aare, delighted with the partnership, commended Runsewe for his enthusiasm for the sport and mentioned that it would accelerate the growth of rugby in Nigeria. “This collaboration marks a fresh start for the federation, empowering us to reach the next level. By promoting and marketing rugby, we aim to make it more popular across Nigeria,” said the NRFF President.
