The Director -General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Abdulaziz Yari, said the North will not cut short President Bola Tinubu’s tenure. He spoke at the flag off of the APC 2027 presidential campaign in Calabar.
Yari stated that the North will reciprocate Tinubu’s support for former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 and 2019. He emphasised that the North believes in power rotation.

Tinubu, from the South, deserves a second term, Yari declared. He described Tinubu as a true Nigerian and democrat offering selfless service.
Yari warned Nigerians not to be deceived ahead of the 2027 polls. Vice President Kashim Shettima said the party sought a renewed mandate for Tinubu and APC candidates.
Governor Bassey Otu listed projects such as the Lagos Calabar Coastal Highway as proof of foundation laying. APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda called Tinubu the best candidate for 2027.
