Enjoy!

Last year seems to have been a fruitful one for you. Can you share some of your achievements from that time?

I fully agree that 2025 was a very beautiful year for me; many good things happened, and I was able to make my fabric line a reality. I shot good movies. God kept my family safe, and I was also able to finish my long-time project, it was good generally.

Can you mention the names of some of your 2025 projects?

Some of my projects in 2025 are still in post-production and some have been completed, so watch the space. The tree is growing.

How would you rate this year so far?

Well, the year just started, we are still praying and fasting for the year to be good. So far it has been good.

You brought Majid to Nigeria for your movie production, how did that happen?

Yes, I did, I brought him to Asaba, Delta State to shoot after 17 years, that was more of a miracle. It was amazing. Majid is an amazing sweet soul. I love him so much. I enjoyed working with him. It was my personal movie and he did not give me stress at all. He was so understanding all through. Majid is an amazing guy and a wonderful actor.

As much as you recorded some grand success in 2025, what challenges did you face?

I trusted people and treated them well, all the while believing that they would do the same, but I was left disappointed by their conduct. I realised that Nollywood is full of angry, toxic people, who are very sad. People who don’t have peace in their hearts. But it’s fine, God will help all of us.

How was it like working with top Nollywood actors on your projects?

Well, it was easy, most of them are very understanding and like a said, some are very toxic and wicked. But in all may God help all of us.

What makes you unique as an actress?

What makes me unique is my craft, I guess; I put my soul into any movie I’m in, I want to always make my fans proud. When I am in any movie, the first thing that always come to my heart are my fans, I want them to be very proud when they’re watching that movie.

Has fame changed the way people relate to you, and how do you manage that shift?

Fame has changed a lot of things. The annoying part is that people always think you have so much money. Well, I try as much as I can to manage that.

If you weren’t in Nollywood, what would you be doing right now?

Well, if I were not in Nollywood as an actress I would be a banker, I left that to be an actress, I too like money (laughter). Banking is a job that makes you meet lots of people.

What is your biggest fear as a woman in the entertainment industry?

My biggest fear is that some men feel we have so much money and we are not loyal, I’m talking out of experience.

Footballer, actor, and politician, who would you pick for marriage?

I will go for a footballer, aside from movies, I love football. I wish every day of my life that I end up with a footballer, I love Victor Osimhen so much. I think I am obsessed with him. When he’s happy I am happy, when they’re dragging him online, I am sad. I just love and wish I were his wife (laughter). I can’t marry an actor, never! Politician too, my dear I don’t have the power to fight.

What can make you quit Nollywood?

Nothing can make me quit my career, absolutely nothing. I lost a marriage proposal because the guy felt I should do something else instead of acting and producing. I exited the relationship. May God never bring anything that will make me leave my career, never.

Has love ever distracted you from your career?

Anybody coming into my life already knows that I am an actress, so you can’t distract me rather he should only help me to build.

Have you ever lost a role because you refused to “play dirty” in the industry?

Yes, I have lost a role because I refuse to play dirty.  I just walked away.

What’s the craziest rumour you’ve heard about yourself?

The craziest rumour was that I was married with kids. It  was not funny. I don’t know how that story came about.

Who do you secretly admire in Nollywood but have never worked with?

Hmmm, I secretly admire Uche Montana. I love that girl and I can’t wait to work with her.
