The Nigeria Modern Pentathlon Federation has set up a media/ publicity committee for the successful hosting of the forthcoming youth Olympic Games qualifier billed for December in Lagos, Nigeria.
President of the federation, Jonathan Nnaji who doubles as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee said the 2018 Youth Olympic Games which starts with the global qualifiers across all continents this year is a media event and there was no way Nigeria would in hosting the qualifiers without involving the media hence the creation of media/publicity sub-committee which has Frank Ilaboya as Chairman.
Other members of the committee include, Mr. Andrew Ekejiuba of Daily Times Newspapers, Gowon, Akpodonor (Guardian Newspapers), Festus Abu (Punch Newspapers), Joe Apu (The Sun newspapers), Jacob Ajom (Vanguard Newspapers), Ajibade Olusegun Blessing ( New Telegraph Newspapers), Adeola Omokhivie (NTA) Promise Efoge (Television Continental) Niran Adesanya (Silverbird Television) and Patrick Ibeh of Metro Sports who is secretary to the committee.
