The Eze Ndigbo Mekong River, Thailand, HRH Eze Jerome Uzochukwu Ezeneche has commended the visit of Ambassador H.E Nuhu Bamalli to the Prime Minister of Thailand, Gen. Prayut Chan-ocha.
Ezeneche said the visit will boost the two countries’ bilateral relations. He made the remark during stakeholders meeting with Nigeria community leader in Thailand. The highlight of the event was a vote of confidence passed on Bamalli for his sterling leadership quality which has earned him and Nigerians the respect of their host country.
Ezeneche commending Prime Minister Prayut for extending invitation to the Nigerian envoy and also for initiating the Thailand+1 policy aimed at making the country the gateway to Southeast Asian on the one hand and Nigeria as the gateway to African countries for members of Thailand’s private sector on the other hand.
He described the prime minister as a great reformist whose style of leadership has further promoted Thailand across the globe. He said Nigerians are proud of him and are willing to work with him to ensure cordial relationship between the two countries.
Ezeneche expressed happiness over the resolve of both countries to work together in the area of agricultural projects and also Thai government’s willingness to send experts work in Nigeria’s public health sector. Ezeneche said such gesture would afford both countries opportunities to explore area of mutual economic interest. He appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to visit Thailand to strengthen bilateral relations between two countries.
