The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto state has said the current economy hardship the country is facing is as a result of political errors made by Nigerians during the 2015 general elections.

The state chairman of the party, Alhaji Ibrahim Milgoma, stated this at a political rally ahead of the local government election held at Bodinga local government area of the state.

He stated that Nigerians are now realising the repercussion of their 2015 political error, having chosen the APC to run the government.

“The people of Nigeria have now realised their mistake because they have started feeling its repercussion.

“They came with a bag full with promises during their campaign. They promised you change but do you see any change since they come on board?” Milgoma queried.

He called on the people of Sokoto state not to repeat the same mistake during the forthcoming local government election in the state.

Also speaking, the party gubernatorial candidate during the last election in the state, Ambassador Abdallah Wali, advised the state Independent Electoral Commission to ensure that the election is credible and hitch-free.

He called on the party supporters to engage on house-to-house campaigns ahead of the election, stating that APC led government in the state had lost credibility.
