The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with King-Fahji Nigeria Limited, has successfully concluded a training programme on digitalized oil field operations and data analytics for 50 youths in Badagry, Lagos State.
The training, held in Badagry, was designed to equip young Nigerians with practical skills in modern oil field technologies, digital operations, and data-driven decision making in line with the NCDMB’s mandate to develop indigenous human capacity for the oil and gas industry.
During the training, beneficiaries were taken through modules on oil field automation, SCADA systems, real-time data monitoring, data analytics tools and predictive maintenance. The hands-on approach ensured participants gained industry-relevant competencies needed for the evolving digital landscape of the sector.
King-Fahji Nigeria Limited, which is the executing firm, commended the participants for their commitment and assured them that post-training mentorship and linkage to industry opportunities would be provided to help them transition into employment and entrepreneurship.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation to NCDMB and King-Fahji describing the training as timely and impactful for their career growth in the energy and technology sectors.
