Sunshine Stars of Akure are no doubt in a fight of their life this season.
The seemingly resurgent Sunshine Stars who are 17th on the League table will face a baptism of fire tomorrow, as they host rampaging Nasarawa United at the Ijebu -Ode Stadium in the Week 29 game of the NPFL.
Sunshine, who have not been having it easy as megards winning matches, will attempt to turn their dwindling fortune around because they are condemned to win if they must avoid relegation.
The Akure-based outfit last week showed some signs of recovery with a 2-4 emphatic win over ABS of IIorin.
But Coach of the Lafia based NasarawaUnited Kabiru Dogo has dismissed Sunshine’s ambition with a wave of the left hans, saying they are in Ijebu Ode to dim Sunshine’s light.
“(We are ready for tomorrow’s game”, he said.
We are determined to win the match against Sunshine or at worst snatch a draw.”
