A political support group under the banner of the Women Support Group for former minister and senatorial aspirant Silas Ali Agara and the Rtd IGP Adamu 2027 Movement has raised serious allegations over the conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Nasarawa State, calling for their outright nullification and a fresh exercise in the affected areas.
Speaking through its coordinator, Hon. Rabi Abdullahi Musa, former deputy chairman of Akwanga Local Government Area, the group condemned what it described as “deliberate sabotage and gross irregularities” during the senatorial and governorship primaries held on 18 May and 21 May 2026, respectively.
“We strongly and unequivocally condemn the deliberate sabotage, gross irregularities, and outright non-conduct of the APC primaries in Nasarawa North and parts of the governorship exercise,” the group stated. “What transpired was a calculated attempt to subvert the will of party members and undermine internal democracy.”
The group alleged that in Wamba, Nasarawa Eggon and Akwanga local government areas, there was no meaningful voting, accreditation or collation of results, insisting that the process was “fundamentally incomplete and invalid”.
According to the statement, “Thousands of duly registered APC members turned out peacefully only to be denied participation, while sensitive electoral materials, including result sheets, were allegedly removed before voting commenced.”
It further claimed that in several wards, including Ningo/Boher and Ancho Baba, signatures of party agents were allegedly forged, while in Gudi and Moroa wards, ward headquarters were “relocated to locations that disenfranchised supporters of the affected candidate”.
Describing the development as “a direct assault on democratic principles”, the group argued that the process violated provisions of the Electoral Act 2022 and Article 20 of the APC Constitution on internal democracy.

The group also cautioned against the acceptance of any results emerging from the affected areas, insisting: “We categorically reject in totality any purported results or declarations emanating from Wamba, Nasarawa Eggon, and Akwanga Local Government Areas.”
It therefore demanded that the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party take immediate action, including the “nullification of all disputed outcomes, conduct of fresh and credible primaries under a neutral panel, and a full-scale investigation into alleged electoral misconduct”.
The group warned that failure to act decisively could “deepen internal crisis within the party and amount to endorsement of electoral malpractice”.
While reaffirming loyalty to the ruling party, the statement stressed that commitment “cannot translate into silence in the face of injustice and manipulation”.
The Women Support Group for Silas Ali Agara and the Rtd. IGP Adamu 2027 Movement said it would pursue all constitutional and legal means to ensure what it called “restoration of the genuine will of APC members in Nasarawa State”.
Hon. Rabi Abdullahi Musa, who signed the statement, is a former deputy chairman of Akwanga Local Government Area in Nasarawa State.
The allegations come amid ongoing internal tensions within the APC in Nasarawa State following the recently concluded primaries.
Key figures mentioned in the dispute include former Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Adamu and former minister and senatorial aspirant Silas Ali Agara, both central to the contested primaries within the ruling All Progressives Congress.
