Napoli has made it clear that it wants €75 million cash after it rejected Galatasaray’s offer of paying €25 million straight away and the rest €50 million to be paid in three instalments for Super Eagles ace, Victor Osimhen.

The €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract has left the Galatasaray management facing a difficult process.

President Dursun Özbek and his team offered Napoli a €25 million down payment and the remaining payment spread over the remaining three years.

However, the Italian Serie A defending champion rejected the offer by not accepting the instalment plan.

Osimhen has been a great asset for Galatasaray, scoring 8 goals and 4 assists in 9 matches.

The who has a loan deal termination option in the winter window has been on the radar of Europe’s big clubs like Chelsea, Juventus, Arsenal and most recently, Man United.

Despite this, the yellow-reds aim to ensure that the star player completes the season in Turkey.
