The highly anticipated 25th Abuja International Motor Fair is set to hold from November 24 to 28, 2025, at Eagle Square, Abuja, marking a historic return after nine years.
This milestone is driven by the fair’s organisers, BKG Exhibitions Ltd, in partnership with the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), under the dynamic leadership of the director-general, Mr. Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin.

NADDC Director General
For the first time in nearly a decade, Eagle Square will once again host the nation’s premier automotive showcase — an achievement, which auto industry watchers believe underscores the foresight, and bold leadership of Mr. Osanipin.
According to them, Osanipin is the most performance-driven DG since the inception of NADDC, having demonstrated commitment to repositioning Nigeria as the automotive hub of Africa.
Also commenting on the partnership with the NADDC and Osanipin’s stewardship so far, the managing director of BKG Exhibitions, Mr. Ideato Agwu, said the return of the motor fair to Eagle Square reflects the kind of vision Osanipin has for Nigeria’s automotive industry.
Agwu also lauded the wisdom of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in appointing the current DG to head the council, commending him for his unmatched ability to identify and appoint exceptional leaders.
The President’s decision to entrust NADDC’s management to Osanipin, he observed, is now yielding transformative results and igniting renewed confidence in Nigeria’s automobile future.
Osanipin has been receiving commendations for spearheading a vigorous drive to encourage local auto parts manufacturing and automobile assembly and laying the foundation for Nigeria’s industrial competitiveness.
Auto industry watchers believe that his efforts are beginning to encourage investors, manufacturers and stakeholders to see Nigeria not just as a market, but also as a continental hub for innovation, production and distribution.
Adopted fully by NADDC, the 25th Abuja International Motor Fair will be a grand showcase of Nigeria’s automotive ecosystem – from government initiatives to private sector innovations.
According to the organisers, it will present to the Presidency, National Assembly, state governors, local governments, international investors and the general public the immense strength, resilience and potential of the Nigerian auto sector.
The fair is expected to bring together stakeholders from across the globe to witness how Nigeria is charting a new course in automotive development, while offering unparalleled opportunities for partnerships, investments, and policy engagement.
Since its inception, the Abuja Motor Fair has stood as West Africa’s most prestigious automotive platform, consistently attracting global and local auto brands, investors, policymakers, and innovators.
This Silver Jubilee edition promises to be the most ambitious, impactful, and transformative in its 25-year history.
