Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Adaramati Afeez Adesewa known by his stage name as “Adaramati” is currently making waves as an artist who knows his onions, not only in his sound but also in his composition of stirring lyrics laced with different blends of genres of music.
According to him, his voice, style and delivery are what stand him out from the rowdy music scene. His type of music which is rooted in Afrobeat with infusion of fuji and pop has given him the edge coupled with his voice.
“My style of music is atypical, meaning it is different and unusual from other musicians. I haven’t seen any artist that is better than me in my style of music. It is my brand and I created this style of music by myself. And that is what distinguishes me from other artists,”
Adaramati also revealed his musical influences which consist of Davido, Wizkid and 69 Tekashi but holds that Wizkid is the best in Africa.
The Afrobeat talent started music officially in 2017 and has since remained one of the most promising artists to attain stardom.
The youngster has not relented in releasing back to back songs including ‘On My Door’ and ‘Easy For Me’.
Adaramati is signed to NGB Records which has pretty much orchestrated his successful music journey from obscurity to limelight.
Adaramati revealed he is from a poor background and started hustling from a tender age. He is a mechanical engineering graduate of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun state.
His repertoire of music includes Afrobeat, Fuji and Pop. He has many singles to his name and is already on a mission to drop an EP soon.
