Nollywood actor and producer Emeka Okoye has announced a strategic shift in his career and business operations for 2026, pledging to prioritize “quality over quantity” in his future film projects.

Speaking in a recent interview, the veteran actor described 2026 as a pivotal year for personal and professional “elevation.” Okoye, who is the CEO of Nigerbondmedia Production Ltd, stated that his primary objective is to transition from local success to building a lasting creative legacy.
“2026, for me, is a year of clarity, elevation, and intentional growth. I resolve to choose quality over quantity in every project I take on. I resolve to keep learning from acting workshops, directing experiences, and exposure to new storytelling methods. I resolve to protect my craft with integrity, punctuality, and professionalism on every set. 2026 is not just another year, it is a season of purpose. I enter it ready to work harder, dream bigger, and represent Nollywood with dignity and excellence,” he stated.
The announcement comes as Okoye seeks to expand his footprint in the industry beyond his established acting career. “By God’s grace, every step I take in 2026 will move me closer to legacy, not just success,” he added.
