The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has congratulated the newly appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, who was the immediate past Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs as well as the newly appointed Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, by President Bola Tinubu.
Mustapha described his successor, Akume, as a forthright, loyal and dedicated statesman with accumulated record of experience in harnessing human and administrative finesse to accomplish onerous task in enhancing effective and result-oriented governance.
With respect to the appointment of Gbajabiamila as the new Chief of Staff to the President, Mustapha expressed hope that he would bring his wealth of experience garnered over the years in the leadership of the National Assembly to bear on his new assignment for the realisation of the Renewed Hope agenda of the present administration.
The former SGF assured his successor of his availability to provide him with the required support and guidance in any way possible to enable him succeed and wishes them a fruitful tenure in office.
