The remains of Princess (Mrs.) Comfort Chioma Akokhia (née Njoku) would be laid to rest on Friday, September 22 at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.
She died on Monday, August 28 at the age of 66.
According to the funeral arrangements released by the widower, Fred Akokhia, on behalf of the family, a Christian Wake, in her honour, will hold at her residence, No. 48, Ashimi Close, Atunrase Estate, Gbagada, Lagos, on Thursday, September 21 at 4pm.
On Friday, September 22, a funeral service will hold at the mortuary premises of the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos, at 10am, after which her body will depart to the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos for interment in a private vault.
Mrs. Akohkhia worked with the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), where she retired as a chief superintendent of Customs.
Left to mourn her include children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
