The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) witnessed a surge of miracles and spiritual renewal from Friday, August 8, to Sunday, August 10, as thousands from around the world gathered for the highly anticipated Living Water Service.
The three-day event, held at its headquarters in Lagos, led by Pastor Evelyn Joshua, was marked by heartfelt worship, testimonies of healing, and a message of faith and vigilance that stirred the hearts of worshippers.
Taking the pulpit with a sermon titled “Watch and Pray,” Pastor Joshua drew from Mark 13:33–37 and Luke 21:34–36, urging Christians to remain spiritually alert in a world filled with distractions and challenges. She reminded attendees that life’s trials often come unexpectedly, but perseverance and patience are vital.
Quoting Hebrews 10:38, she encouraged believers to stand firm in their faith, likening their journey to that of Caleb in Numbers 14, whose unshaken trust in God triumphed over fear.
From John 5:2–9, she addressed those burdened by illness, emotional pain, and life’s limitations, declaring that only Jesus truly cares for and restores the broken. Her words of comfort ignited hope among the congregation: “You that are in need, who have been long suffering, crippled emotionally, do not worry. You will be singled out for mercy and grace, in the name of Jesus!”
