Iran has warned that the ongoing conflict in the Middle East will have far-reaching global consequences, insisting that no country will be immune from its impact.
“A wave of global repercussions has only begun and will hit all, regardless of wealth, faith, or race.”
The warning was issued by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, posted on X, followed by a copy of the resignation statement made by the director of the US National Counterterrorism Center on Tuesday due to the fighting.
Abbas urged more Western leaders to speak out against the conflict, saying that the war’s ripple consequences are already happening and will impact countries regardless of wealth, religion, or geography.

His comments come amid escalating tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel, with intensified airstrikes, retaliatory attacks, and growing casualties across the region.
The conflict has already disrupted global systems, including energy supply routes, with the Strait of Hormuz—through which a significant portion of the world’s oil passes—facing major instability, pushing oil prices higher and rattling international markets.
Tehran maintains that the war is unjust and is calling on the international community to increase pressure for de-escalation, warning that continued fighting could trigger wider economic and geopolitical shocks worldwide.
“A rising number of voices — (including) European and U.S. officials — exclaim that the war on Iran is unjust. More members of the international community should follow suit,” the post added.
