As a woman in a field primarily dominated by men, the Chief Executive Officer of Esheza Autos, Miss Marian Esheza Eshokhai found herself traversing in an unknown ground in the vast landscape of the car sales sector.
The industry’s immense size posed significant obstacles from the beginning, which were frequently exacerbated by the widespread gender prejudices ingrained in its structure.
However, rather than succumbing to the daunting odds stacked against her, Eshokai on Monday said she embraced the adversities as catalysts for personal growth and professional resilience.
“My journey commenced with a profound realization that to thrive in this fiercely competitive arena, I needed to outshine my male counterparts by going the extra mile.
“Armed with an unyielding determination and an unwavering faith in my abilities, I embarked on a quest fueled by passion and purpose. Despite being a relative newcomer, with a mere four years of experience under my belt, I refused to be daunted by the daunting odds. Instead, I leaned on my steadfast belief that with God by my side, no obstacle was insurmountable,” she said.
Eshokai further explained how she travail in the automobile industry, “each day presented a new set of trials, each demanding a unique blend of tenacity and tact. As I traversed the intricate web of negotiations and transactions, I found myself constantly challenged to prove my mettle in an arena where gender often overshadowed competence.
“Yet, amidst the trials and tribulations, my love for automobiles remained an unwavering beacon of hope, propelling me forward even in the face of adversity.
Despite the inherent biases that pervaded the industry, Eshokai remained resolute in her pursuit of excellence, refusing to allow gender stereotypes to dictate her trajectory.
“With each successful sale, I shattered preconceived notions and blazed a trail for aspiring women in the automobile sales industry. My journey stands as a testament to the power of perseverance, passion, and unwavering faith in the face of adversity, inspiring others to embrace their dreams and defy the odds, no matter how daunting they may seem,” she concluded.
