Medical Tourism Africa has launched its Thryvv Wellness digital platform in Lagos, marking a major step in its collaboration with Sterling Bank Nigeria and Torrista to deepen wellness and health tourism development across the continent.
The public unveiling, held on December 14, 2025, formed part of activities at the Isimi Wellness Lagos Event, which centred on strengthening conversations around preventive care, lifestyle medicine, and destination health.
The platform, developed by Medical Tourism Africa, is designed to support access to wellness services and promote Africa as a growing hub for health and wellness tourism.
The event, themed “The Future of Wellbeing: Prevention, Lifestyle, and Destination Wellness in Lagos,” brought together stakeholders from healthcare, finance, wellness, and tourism to explore emerging opportunities within the sector.

Panelists included Dr. Dayo Ajayi; Darlington Nwankwo; Eniola Olushola; and Chidima Blessing Ekume. Speakers highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare, lifestyle wellness, and institutional partnerships in building a sustainable wellness economy.
