Nigerian singer Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun, has shared the advice his elder brother gave him after he opened up about his difficulty finding a suitable woman to marry.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Uncut podcast, the singer said his elder brother suggested that his approach to meeting women could be responsible for his struggle to find a life partner.
According to Mayorkun, his brother advised him to approach women during the day rather than at night.
The singer said he agreed with the advice, adding that he believes a responsible woman should not keep late nights.
“I told my big bro I have been struggling to find the right woman to marry, and he asked me a simple question: ‘When was the last time you spoke to a girl in broad daylight?’
“You can’t be a responsible girl and still be outside by 1 a.m.,” the singer said.
His revelation has sparked interest among fans, particularly those curious about the singer’s views on love, relationships and settling down.
Mayorkun is one of Nigeria’s popular Afrobeats stars.
