Masari constitutes new Pilgrims board in Katsina

Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State  has approved the reconstitution of the 18-member  state Pilgrims Welfare Board.

A press statement, on Wednesday, by the Secretary to the State Government, Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, said the appointment of the Chairman and members of the board  was based on merit as well as on recognition for their selfless service to the state.

The new board has Alhaji Salisu Ado Shinkafi as Chairman, while some other members are, Alhaji Sani Abubakar Idris Daura, Malam Harith Isa Dukke, Malam Aminu Yaqub, Malam MUkhtar Usman, Malam Muhammad Alti, Alhaji Ishaq Nuhu and Salihu Kaura.

The others are, Labaran Imam Saulawa, Shehu Abubakar Adoro, Sagir Abbate, Shitu S. Shitu, Ashiru Namarwa, Adams Alhassan Usman, Ibrahim Bala, Abdulwahab Usman, Hajiya Indo Muhammad Bakori and Safara’u Isyaku.

The statement said that all the appointments were with immediate effect.
