Kalejaiye, whose address was not provided, is facing a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing, to which he pleaded not guilty.

The Prosecutor, Insp. Ayodele Adeosun told the court that the defendant committed the offences with some others still at large on Oct. 3 at No. 4 Agbeke St. King George, Aradagun, Badagry.

Adeosun said the defendant broke into the apartment of the complainant, Mr Tokenji Semako, and stole the money.

The Chief Magistrate, Mr Patrick Adekomaiya, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in the like sum and adjourned the case until February 24 for mention.
