Venerable Superior Evangelist (VSE) Olarenwaju Macaulay, who died in the United States, will be buried tomorrow, October 9, at Amule, Ayobo, Ogun State.
Macaulay died on Wednesday, September 9, at the age of 67.
According to a statement by the USA Central Choir of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), funeral activities began with a service of songs and musical night in the United States on Friday, October 2.
A family member said his remains arrived in Nigeria early this week.
In a separate statement, the Joyful Singer Olowu Choir said a wake was held yesterday at CCC Olowu, 1 Babatunde Egungbohun Street, via Asipa Road, Mercyland Estate, Amule, Ayobo.
The lying-in-state is scheduled for tomorrow from 8am to 9.30am, followed by the funeral service from 10am to 11am.
The burial service will begin at noon, with interment immediately afterwards at the same venue. A reception for guests will follow.
He is survived by children, grandchildren and other relatives.
