Former Eket State House of Assembly Member in Akwa Ibom, Hon.David Lawrence has thanked Governor Umo Eno on his appointment as Honorary Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Investment.
The former Member stated this, at his residence in Uyo, while conveying his gratitude to the Governor for finding him fit to contribute his quota to the development of Akwa Ibom State.
He said: “I am delighted to be appointed by His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno as his Honorary Special Adviser on Trade and Investment. I’ve been a businessman over the years, and I understand the demands of my new office.
“It is at the discretion of the Governor for me to be appointed, out of the many Akwa Ibom people all over the world.”
“This action demonstrates the Governor’s belief in my capacity to deliver in my assigned duties, and bring my wealth of experience to help navigate the state in terms of trade and investment to where it ought to be.
I will continue to do my best, and promote the ARISE Agenda of His Excellency, as the Governor’s blueprint serves as a fulcrum of his administration’s direction, Hon. Lawrence concluded.
