Former Chief Press Secretary to the late governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, Mr. Richard Olatunde, has launched a public relations consultancy firm in Lagos.
In a statement yesterday, he said he took the step to bring his years of professional experience into the spotlight.
“I have been working with many individuals, political leaders, and organisations behind the scenes over the last two years, but it has become imperative that we officially come into the spotlight to join the eggheads in the industry to further redefine Public Relations management in the country.
Olatunde who holds an MSc in Mass Communication has worked in both print and broadcast organisations.
He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
“After years of shaping government narratives, managing media crises and working closely with journalists, I’ve seen firsthand how poor communication damages credibility and how strategic storytelling builds trust.

Mr. Olatunde served as spokesman to the late Governor Akeredolu from March 2021 until his death in December 2023.
Before his appointment as CPS, he had served as Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media and was also spokesperson for the Akeredolu/Aiyedatiwa campaign organisation in 2020.
