Lagos PRP Chairman sue for Peace, commends President Tinubu for yielding to the call of reasoning

The  chairman of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Lagos State, Alhaji Mustapha Moshood Adekunle, has  empathized with Nigerians on the bitten economy, he saluted the President, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu for hearkening to Nigerians call and address the nation over the End Bad Governance Protest which has now entered into is fifth day.

In a statement  made available  to the media, Alhaji  Adekunle calls on organisers of the protest to yield to calls from President Tinubu  and other well-meaning  Nigerians by suspending the Protest.

” Although the organizers  had good intentions,  fear of hijacked as seen   in Kano, Kaduna, and Abuja has made the president to call for its suspension.

“I commend Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for being proactive  by engaging  stakeholders on the modalities of the protest  without endangering the life of other Nigerians.”

 

In the same breath, Alhaji Adekunle calls on Governor Sanwo-Olu to assist in erecting BRT shed at Iyana-Iba Bus stop.

“Each time it rains,  we suffer a lot as there is no shelter to hide. we thus appealed to the Ministry of Transport  to ensure  that our complaints  are addressed. “he said.

 

He prays that we continue to live in peace and tranquillity.
