The Lagos State Parastatals Monitoring Office (PMO) has clarified that it does not sanction underperforming agencies and parastatals due to government policies prohibiting such actions.
Speaking at the 2025 Ministerial Press Briefing marking six years of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat’s administration, PMO Permanent Secretary Adetutu Ososanya outlined the agency’s oversight role.
Ososanya explained, “In government, we don’t sanction agencies and parastatals for non-performance. When we identify performance gaps, we invite the CEOs for a dialogue to address the challenges and find solutions.”
