A chairmanship aspirant in Somolu Local Government Area of Lagos State, Adeniyi Ogunade, has said his vision is to harness values of power of unity, resilience, and determination for community-driven progress, inclusive development, and sustainable development for the people.
Ogunade, who is contesting on All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, in a statement by his ADASI media team, said his focus as chairmanship aspirant, is to address the unique challenges facing the local government area.
“I am committed to listening to your concerns, engaging with local stakeholders, and working tirelessly to ensure our community reaches its full potential.
“Let us work together to build a brighter future for ourselves, children, and generations to come.”
According to the media team, the local government election will hold next year.
The media team said Ogunade is a beacon of hope and change, and a leader whose vision soars beyond the ordinary, as well as a candidate whose experience as a Somolu indigene and active community leader, shines brightly in every corner of the community.
“Ogunade embodies a spirit that is not confined to the norms of politics, but rather, soars with a dedication to transformative impact.
“His commitment is like that of a bird with wings too vibrant and promising to be caged within the ordinary bounds of governance,” the media team said.
It said Ogunade has made important roles in people’s life, saying, “His aspirations stretch beyond titles or milestones. He envisions a Somolu where every voice matters, where development reaches every street, and where transparency is not a promise but a practice, having given his insight and experience to tackle challenges with innovation and care, while his deep roots in the community ground him in the real needs of his people.”
The ADASI media team further said Ogunade leadership would offer a rare blend of strength and compassion.
It said aside from being a manager of men, he is also a builder of trust and unity, which the team said are qualities desperately needed to inspire positive change in Somolu area council.
It said voting for Ogunade as Somolu Local Government chairman in 2025 is to vote growth, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the council’s future.
