Low turnout was recorded in the Fadairo/Ebenezer polling unit 072, 071 and 073 in Itire-Mushin, Lagos, in today’s governorship and House of Assembly elections.

Though the accreditation of voters started at 9: 58am, by 1:20pm, voting had already ended due to lowturn out of voters.
Some voters attributed the low turnout to the fact that most people who voted in the last presidential election were aggrieved that thier votes did not count due to INECs irregularities.
As at 1:30pm, party agents and some voters who were still waiting for the votes to be counted were seen in groups drinking and dancing to music played by a nearby record shop.
A presiding officer at the 072 polling unit said though voters had stopped coming to vote, voting will be officially closed by 2:30pm, noting that the turn out has been quite low
