Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has extended warm congratulations to his deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, on the occasion of his 61st birthday, lauding his decades of dedicated service to Lagos State and Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Thursday, September 18, by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu described Dr Hamzat, who turns 61 on Friday, September 19, as a trusted, committed, and passionate public servant whose contributions have significantly advanced the development of Lagos.
“Dr Hamzat is a dependable colleague, a seasoned technocrat, and a visionary administrator.
“His input has been instrumental to the success of our administration,”
the governor said.
Sanwo-Olu emphasised the strong working relationship he shares with his deputy, whom he described as not only a partner in governance but also a brother and friend.
He noted that their collaboration has played a key role in delivering good governance and democratic dividends to millions of Lagos residents.
